So far this year I've done revisions, filled out cover art forms and written back cover blurb. I am really looking forward to seeing the cover for An Elemtal Tail and sharing it.

I also had some more good news this month. A short story I wrote, Black Widow, has been selected for the Scary Kisses paranormal romance anthology to be published by Ticonderoga Publishing.

I'm now halfway through the first draft of the fantasy novel.

I've reorganized my website.

The fantasy idea has come together and the synopsis is written. Now to write the story...right after I finish editing the extended novella/now a novel ms.

The revisions went well, the novella is now a novel. The ms is with the fabulous WINKgirls before I edit and polish. I've found the best way to detach from a story is to work on something else, so that is what I've been doing. This time I've gone back to a genre I love. Fantasy. Plotting and research is the perfect distraction, and I've been having a lot of fun with the idea.

The Romance Roadshow was a great day. Hopefully there will be one next year.

I'm editing, I've been asked to turn a novella into a novel. So far so good.

Both novella's are done. And another couple are plotted, I can't help it, one idea leads to another. The historical paranormal romance, with fairytale elements is still in the plotting phase.

Romance Writers of Australia is bringing the Romance Roadshow (regional conference) to Perth, WA in May. Guest speakers for the day include, Keri Arthur, Denise Rossetti and Kelly Hunter.
The main conference will be in Brisbane, QLD in August.

I didn't make any resolutions this year, but I did do goal setting.
This year I will write up the two novellas which are already plotted and waiting for some attention. One is a paranormal romance; the other is a paranormal erotic romance.
The novel I want to write this year is a historical paranormal romance, with fairytale elements. Until I've sat down and nurtured the idea into something a bit more substantial that is the best way to describe it. In the meantime I have some research to do.
