The only thing better than reading fantasy is writing my own.
I wrote my first novella when I was fourteen, it was complete with an evil witch, an imprisoned hero and a girl who had to save the world. Writing then took a back seat while I did the right thing, studying, getting a good job, the usual. I still made up stories, I just never wrote them down.
It wasn't until I was on maternity leave that I started writing again. Only to find I still love tortured heroes and the heroines who fight to be with them.
I haven't looked back since. Writing is like breathing, not an optional extra.
